Planning van dag 6: maandag 14 april 2014: Death Valley!

Planning van dag 6:

08:30 :   Ontbijt afhalen bij 7-Eleven.
09:00 :   Vertrek naar Red Rock Canyon.
09:30 :   Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center:
                 Hier doen we de 13 mijl lange Scenic Loop Drive.
11:30 :   We rijden door naar Death Valley.
13:30 :   Furnace Creek Visitor Center in Death Valley:
                   De Artist’s Drive: Scenic Loop Drive ( 9 mijl ).
                   Devil’s Golf Course: Immense area of rock salt eroded by wind and
                               rain into jagged spires.
                   Natural Bridge: Massive rock span across interesting desert canyon.
                               From the trailhead, the natural bridge is a ½ mile walk.
                   Badwater: Lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level, 
                               Badwater Basin is a surreal landscape of vast salt flats.
                   We rijden nu terug richting Visitor Center en nemen ipv de Badwater
                               Road, de Furnace Creek Wash en gaan naar:
                   Dante’s View: The most breathtaking viewpoint in the park, this 
                               mountain-top overlook is more than 5000 feet above the inferno
                               of Death Valley.
17:00 :   Rond deze tijd vertrekken we terug naar Vegas!
